The fourth annual Economic Development Summit will be held 8 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 6. The summit will provide an opportunity for the private sector and local government to develop strategic plans for growth in New Jersey.
FOURTH ANNUAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT SET FOR PASSAIC COUNTY
PATERSON - The fourth annual Economic Development Summit will be held 8 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 6. The summit will provide an opportunity for the private sector and local government to develop strategic plans for growth in New Jersey.
The forum, titled "Beyond the Quick Fix: A Vision for Economic Development in New Jersey” will be held at the Brownstone House, 351 West Broadway, Paterson.
The sponsors of the event include the Passaic County Board of Freeholders, Berkeley College, Greater Paterson Chamber of Commerce, Tri-County Chamber of Commerce and North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Freeholder Director Elease Evans will make opening remarks. Invited speakers include Gary Rose, Chief of the New Jersey Office of Economic Growth; State Senator Paul Sarlo; Philip Kirschner, President of the New Jersey Business and Industry Association; Jim Leonard, Vice President of Government Relations of the New Jersey State Chamber and Robert Lieb, Chairman of Mountain Development Corporation.
