The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders will install a sign from the Passaic County Open Space Committee during a presentation on Dundee Island 1 p.m. Thursday, October 12. The Clifton City Council has been invited to attend.

PRESENTATION TO CLIFTON ON DUNDEE ISLAND
PATERSON – The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders will install a sign from the Passaic County Open Space Committee during a presentation on Dundee Island 1 p.m. Thursday, October 12. The Clifton City Council has been invited to attend.
The Passaic County Freeholders awarded $800,000 to the City of Clifton towards the purchase of 4.25 acres of Dundee Island in 2004. Green Acres provided a grant of $800,000.
A 7.5-acres wildlife sanctuary will be established on Dundee Island that will include a previously donated parcel of land from the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
